The H&M eather skirt again paired with a navy blue sweater even though it looks black here (also from H&M), and some sports socks & sneakers. I prefer wearing socks over going sockless any day, even when it is a million degrees outside. Which is why I always make sure to buy fun colours or styles. It is an inexpensive way to accessorize your outfit, and Uniqlo and Simon’s are my favourite places to buy them.
Fun fact: I can’t sleep without socks on.

These Birkenstock clogs called the Boston originally came out in 1979, had a resurgence in the 90s, and then again were brought back as a trend for the last several (more than several) seasons. They are sticking around again and if you were debating them last fall but missed out, now is a good time to grab them before they become hard to find again over the next month or so. Mine are sherpa lined, so nice and cozy for when the weather turns. The browns are usually the first colours to go, but this season we are seeing bright pinks and blues too which are a fun option.

My entire H&M shop was kind of meh except these trousers. They sold out during the sale but you can sign up for restock notifications in case any are returned. They are a wool blend, high rise, very wide leg trousers with a small pinstripe. True to size, and at 5’3" with a chunky sneaker there isn’t drag when I walk. I am still going to hem them just a smidge.
