This is my kind of everyday outfit: comfy, pulled together, and easy to rewear.

A @asos denim shirt dress is one of those pieces I reach for when I don’t want to think but still want to look styled. I layered it with sheer sleeves for texture, added socks + @allbirds varsity sneakers for walking all day, and finished it with a @oleada_official structured bag to make it feel more “outfit” and less just casual.

I’m trying to buy less, but when I do buy, it has to work with most of my closet. These shoes and this bag instantly upgrade basics I already own which means they’ll actually get worn.

I shared this airplane comfort cozy set during the holiday sale, and I finally got the sweatpants and they’re really, really good.

They’re soft, comfortable, and just feel like great quality from wearing them all day. I haven’t even washed them yet, but you can already tell they’re the kind that hold up.

I ordered a small (even though I’ve gained a little weight recently) and they fit perfectly, relaxed but still flattering. I’m petite and the length is not overwhelming. And the pockets… there are so many, which makes them ideal for traveling.

10 things I’d tell you about Madrid if I loved you 🇪🇸

1. Flea markets have the best souvenirs
They’re way cheaper than tourist shops. The same magnets I bought for 8 euros were only one euro. Baseball caps that I always buy for the guys as a souvenir for 5 euros. But they mostly take cash and only open on Sunday morning.

2. The palace is free after 4 PM
You only need about 2 hours. Go late, save money, still get the full experience. We figured this out random but worked out great for us TG.

3. The metro doors don’t open automatically
There’s a handle or button. Otherwise, you’ll be standing there wondering why the doors won’t open. I learned that the hard way lol

4. The sun rises around 9 AM
Late mornings are built into the culture. Don’t fight it. Works out perfectly if you get jet legged the way I do!

5. Life in Madrid doesn’t end when the sun goes down
Shops stay open until 9:30 PM.
Restaurants until midnight.
Coming from LA where everything shuts down by 8? Huge shock. Can imagine walking into a restaurant at the 10 pm??

6. Madrid will secretly make you hike
The streets look flat… until they’re not.
Wear comfortable shoes.

7. You don’t need a packed itinerary
Some of the best moments happen between plans - walking, wandering, stopping for tapas.

8. Flamenco is still a must
Even though it’s from Seville, not Madrid - go anyway! Sitting at an UNESCO world heritage site watching a flamenco show is a once in a lifetime experience.

9. Don’t stress about where to eat
There’s a cute tapas bar on every corner. You really can’t go wrong.

10. You’ll walk more than you think
Even with the metro, Madrid is a walking city. Everything is closer than it looks. It takes less time to walk somewhere va Uber or take the metro. Again comfortable shoes like @allbirds highly recommended!
