Sometimes you pick up a top at a store and not sure if you will like it but you decide to throw it in your suitcase anyway. Then you put it on and in that moment you know it was the perfect piece you never knew you needed. Five years ago when I was thinking about starting my own blog I approached christen for advice on how to get started. She graciously offered me some tips and and advice from her own experience as a home decor blogger.

Last year Christen self-published her first novel — an introspective and brave memoir about a difficult childhood and her subsequent battle with depression.
