Rating straw cups for 1 year olds ✨👶🏼🍼

You can start teaching your baby how to drink from a straw around 6 months old! There are SO many cup options out there so I tried all of them so you don’t have to 🫶🏻

Here are the cups I DO recommend & why:

✅ First Years Straw Cup: perfect first straw cup, doesn’t leak, easy to learn how to drink from a straw

✅ Grosmimi Cups: has handles which are perfect for little hands, easy to drink from, doesn’t leak, a little pricey though

✅ Target Straw Cups: I’m SO impressed by these! They come in a 2 pack for 10 bucks and they don’t leak. They’re the perfect “at home” cup for milk, water, or juice

✅ Owala: This is a great stainless steel option for on the go, it does leak a tiny bit when shaken up

✅ Zak Designs: Comes in plastic & stainless steel, it’s very easy to drink from and great quality

Here are the cups I DON’T recommend & why:

❌ Mushie Trainer Cup: the lid is super hard to get off and it leaks A TON

❌ Munchkin Trainer Cup: This is a great first cup to teach your baby how to drink from a straw but it does leak a lot

❌ Munchkin Weighted Straw Cup: Anything you get with a weighted straw is going to be very difficult to clean, I try to avoid those 🙈 this one is also difficult to drink from
