Spied that one of my favourite pairs of ballet flats (for cut & comfort) has come out in some new colours for the transitional season including a gorgeous burgundy suede. But if you’re on the hunt for a neutral pair which go with everything I can’t recommend the chocolate enough!

FYI I went up a full size to EU41 but I think a half size would have been okay too. Wide feet friendly! 👏🏻

This suede leather jacket has been living rent free in my mind for the past month and safe to say she’s about to become a permanent fixture on my transitional season rotation 😍

Found it via @netaporter (clearly my go-to for elevated style essentials 🤭) and love the lightweight quality of the suede leather - it’s the perfect in-between jacket that adds instant textural interest to an outfit & the relaxed silhouette means you can easily layer underneath.

A great piece of transitional season styling advice is not to reinvent your wardrobe, but use *one* great layer to bridge the gap. So I’ll be styling this with denim and lightweight knits now, and structured denim Bermudas and little mini’s as it warms up.

I feel like it’s especially impactful when worn against a column of colour - adds *just* the right amount of contrast - or to bring more depth to some earthy neutrals.

I spent $6500 at Sézane so you wouldn’t have to. Here’s what I ordered [hits & misses part 2] 🛍️

1 | Everyone is talking about the Leonard Jumper and this was one I was *SURE* would be a keeper. 100% thick merino wool, and I loved the mock neck (and the colours!). But the fit wasn’t quite right for me and that ended up being a dealbreaker…

2 | The Silo Bag was one of my favourite pieces I ordered. Really feels like a step up from the previous bags I’ve ordered from Sezane. The leather is a very close match to a Loewe bag I have, if that context helps 👀

3 | My *least* favourite piece happens to be one of the most hyped.. the Jule Jacket. Sorry but the fit is comical (and it’s not just me!). I also didn’t like the leather; I was expecting the buttery soft lamb leather they’ve used in seasons past but this was a waxy cow leather, very structured and filled the room with a scent I’d rather forget 🙃

4 | Seems a curve sleeve is a key detail for the collection which I love, so I also ordered the Anne to compare against the Sophie (it’s also only 10% polyamide). I feel like this would have been a stronger style if it were a more structured fabric.

5 | LOVE the old Hollywood glamour of the Marjorie Mules. The suede leather is super soft too and can confirm they’re wide feet friendly.

6 | Final piece I tried was the Many Dress, which I think is hugely underrated. This is basically a 2026 version of their much loved Nicia dress (and IMO, in a better cut!). It’s 100% wool too. 🐑

Curious to know your thoughts on the collection - I feel like it’s had people feeling very divided…

LOVING these wide leg pants from INSIS. They remind me a lot of my beloved apiece apart cybil pants! I wear size US4/AU8

1 | I knew I’d order the Sophie Cardigan regardless of my instincts that it would be a polyamide blend. The shape is really strong and I love the details and have zero complaints about the fit, just wish it was 100% natural fibres.

2 | I thought the Apolline Jumper was a great example of an elevated basic executed well. I like the sheer + wide rib combo (though, it’s a synthetic blend & you can buy 100% silk for a similar price… 👀

3 | I’ve not heard much chat about the Zeylie Coat and I’m surprised as this was one of the best pieces I ordered. Love that you can just throw this on over anything and it’s a great mix of double faced and knitted wool 🧶

4 | The Isabella Ankle Boot is so sexy chic in terms of the silhouette and am kicking myself for ordering the brown python as this leather is so rigid. Would suggest getting these in the suede or the smooth black leather if you like the shape!

5 | Wasn’t expecting to be so wow-ed by the Danny Coat but that sculptural silhouette is chef’s kiss. While I’m not the biggest fan of a snap closure, it works well here to keep the design looking sleek and streamlined.

6 | Can confirm that the Norina wedge pumps are so comfy and also wide feet friendly!

7 | The Virgil Jumper was a favourite from the S/S collection so when I spied the same silhouette in 100% wool it felt like a no brainer, plus the Flax Yellow colour is really pretty 💛

I tend to use the rule that an outfit needs shape, texture, or colour and clearly this one has *shape* covered 👏🏻 The exaggerated cut through the hip is so fun (+ it has pockets!!), so I kept everything else relatively pared back so the silhouette could be the star of the show

Found the *perfect* pair of 100% cotton pull on pants at @netaporter and of course you know I don’t gatekeep! These have that same drapey look as The Row Gala Pants (which I have been talking about for most of 2026 at this point) but are heatwave & humidity approved 👏🏻

Perfect as a year round piece for warmer climates or for spring/summer in general - and YES I’m already thinking about next season because the *right* piece might find you at any time…! 👀
