Walmart has REALLY surprised me with the quality and style of their fashion section lately!! I’ve seen a few of their pieces around the last couple years, but this year Walmart has really popped off!

My FAVE thing I’ve gotten from them lately is my big floor-length mirror that I have in my living room that I always video my OOTD looks in! It was so inexpensive and such high quality!

I’ve been really stuck trying to find a super classy, chic 4th of July nail design to do for my nails!!! I usually do a super cute nail design or I do like an edgy French tip, but this year I wanted to do something a little different!

I needed some more builder gel which is what I personally use to keep my nails strong so I can grow them really long (they’re kind of short right now - I’m experimenting with the length right now to see what I like best!)

And then I found a silicone messy mat to put down to protect my surface instead of paper towels so I don’t have to worry about getting any fuzzies in my nail design!

I found the PERFECT navy color and I’m so pumped about how this design will turn out!!! It’s such a neat Mediterranean summer vibe and I think you’ll love it!!!

the micellar hair hack did NOT work for this oily hair girl unfortunately

I spritzed in the OG micellar water into my roots, worked it in, then let me hair air dry, and my hair ended up kind of goopy and weird!!!

so I’m thinking that you’ve got to blow dry or diffuse your hair to get it to work?! Bc I’ve heard amazing things about how it really cleans your hair so nicely, but unfortunately it just didn’t work for me.

so I linked my FAVORITE dry shampoo that I’ve been using for 3 years!!! I had been getting it from my hair dresser in Iowa, but since I moved, I realized they also sell it on Amazon!!! It leaves your hair feeling so clean, it smells AMAZING, and it doesn’t leave any of that chalky residue that most brands do.

here’s how to never let hot, humid days stop you from wearing your cutie outfits to the farmer’s market 👇🏻

+ wear loose, flowy materials

+ choose lighter colors especially if your farmer’s market doesn’t have much shade!

+ grab a hair clip or hair band to put your hair up if it gets too hot

+ choose breathable shoes - I love wearing sandals most of the summer

+ pick up an iced coffee at the market - it really completes the vibes, but also helps keep you cool while you shop!

my go-to outfit for HOT days when I want to fully protect my skin from the sun!

I love Lululemon for athletic wear, and I’ve had each of these pieces for 2+ years, but I’ve also found some amazing dupes on Amazon as well that I’ll link for you!

I wore athletic shorts and sports bra to stay cool, then layered an spf button down over top of those to protect my sunburnt shoulders (YIKES!)

Then I braided up my hair (let me know if you want a tutorial!), then popped on this super breathable bucket hat and oversized sunnies to protect my face!

then I grabbed my crossbody bag and clipped Honey’s leash in for a hands-free walk (literally so helpful bc I have anxiety about Honey popping free to chase a squirrel!)

and that was my outfit for our VERY hot and humid walk!
