How are your New Year resolutions going? Are you staying active during the lockdown? Here are my essentials to keeping myself active- indoor and outdoor. Physical fitness helps mental fitness! My top essentials are: bands, ankle weights and workout matt. 🤍 Rubber hip bands are cool, but they tend to rip easier. When buying the long bands, be sure that your set includes a door stopper and grips. 🤍 Because of the lockdown dumbbells are a hot commodity. You might have to wait a little longer for the delivery. Select a heavy set that includes a barbell. Think about how you are going to store them at home. Tip: round weights might roll away when you’re working out! 🤍 If you have a partner, take it outdoors! I’ve been playing so much badminton lately. It’s great fun to run around. Alternatively, you can practice roller-skating up and down the driveway if you’re a beginner. 🤍 At home, we’ve been using our dining table to play table tennis. 😂 Our table extends so it’s just about perfect for a friendly tournament. 🤍 The skipping rope keeps me accountable for my effort. It keeps track of your activity.
