No joke, I think we got over 100 compliments on these suitcases while in the airport...and FOR GOOD REASON 🛴 I skeptical at first, but this scooter suitcase was truly everything I’d hoped it be + more! FUNCTIONALITY: It expands into a scooter, but it can also be dragged like a regular suitcase, and it folds up into an overhead carry-on. (It doesn’t fit under the seat, but it does fit in the overhead compartment.) CAPACITY: The inside fits enough for kids. It’s definitely smaller than a regular-sized carry-on, but it was enough for us to fit kid-sized socks, underwear, about 5 outfits, 3 pairs of pajamas, swimsuits, and toiletries. FOLDABILITY: It’s simple to expand and fold up once you get the hang of it. I recommend watching the video and practicing a few times at home. But once you get how it works, it’s simple and quick! We had no issues transitioning from one mode to another while loading & unloading the plane. SCOOTABILITY: It’s a very smooth ride for the kids, and it can turn right and left pretty well by leaning each direction. My 5-year-old was extremely competent and truly navigated the whole airport and every twist and turn nearly flawlessly. My 3-year-old struggled at times, and he just got tired of scootering for long stretches, but the scooter listing online claims it’s for “ages 4+”, so I wasn’t surprised. Much like it claims, I would recommend this for ages 4 and up! But it wasn’t impossible with my 3-year-old, and we would still do it this way again, even at this age. ENTERTAINMENT: The best thing about the scooter suitcase isn’t that it just gets you through the airport, but it also functions as something to do when you’re waiting in between flights. It’s built-in entertainment without having to bring any extra toys! Plus, it’s big-muscle play, which is a great compliment to the kids having to stay seated throughout the whole flight. If you’re taking small kids through the airport any time soon, I cannot recommend this scooter suitcase enough!
