Well, we’re a day late, but we got the Advent calendar up and running tonight! We’ve done the felt storyboard Christmas story for years, but as some of my kids really need something deeper, I’ve been trying to branch out (see how I did that?! 😉😂). This year we’re doing a hodgepodge of an Advent wreath, the devotional recommended by my church, some simple felt storyboard evenings, and the Jesse tree. I figure you can never have too much of the good news, right? ❤️ The kids love finding the topic for the night (and sometimes cheesy rhymes I make up with clues to follow) in the envelopes... now if I can just stay at least one day ahead of them. 🤣 What’s your favorite advent tradition? #adventcalendar #maisondepax . . .
