front porch makeover — & all you need is some paint and patience 😊 Step by step: 1. Cleaned off the porch and pressure washed to make sure it was clear off debris. 2. Grabbed some exterior paint from @homedepot (only needed a quart of each) — Behr: Limousine Black & Antique White. 3. Laid down the based color (Antique White) on the porch and steps. 4. Cut out a 4x4 piece of cardboard to stencil the checkered pattern. I created a 6” black border around the sides of the porch. 5. (and this can be tedious) Hand painted each black checker. This took a few days cause I took breaks and had some things to do but i found it therapeutic 😊 6. Tackles the step borders in black and added some greenery (ferns) for a small pop of color! I love how this turned out. It is not perfect by any means but way better than what we started with!
