AND I am so excited to see @slumberpod makes toddler beds (ToddlerPod) that fit inside the SlumberPod so we can switch to that once Trent is too big for the travel crib!

fitting over mini cribs and playyards, this is an essential item for travel, sleeping at Grandma’s or anywhere your little one needs to get a good nights sleep or nap!

make your own Disney vacation memory/autograph photo album!

I’ve done this the last couple years for the boys and it’s been so magical!

I couldn’t find what I was looking for anywhere so I decided to make my own. I use 4x6 card stock for the characters to sign (retractable sharpies are best so they don’t have to fiddle with the cap), and store the signatures and extra card stock with the mini clip board in a ziplock bag to prevent any spontaneous florida storms from ruining them.

for each autograph we get from a character, I place a picture of the boys with that character next to the autograph! whatever space is left after, I fill with other pictures from the trip.

the albums come in a 6 pack (perfect for any vacation memories), I designed the covers myself (shoot me a message on IG if you want me to do yours!), and print out the pictures with FreePrints!

so leave the photo albums at home, grab the signatures at the parks, and make the books when you get home!

I’ll be doing these for the boys as long as I can 🥹🏰✨

seriously - watching your baby daddy navigate a stroller in 98° with 300% humidity through a crowd while not spilling his Joffrey’s coffee around Magic Kingdom or cocktail around the World Showcase is a sight to behold.

a damn FINE sight. so we may as well make sure they fit the part of doing the Disney dad thing right.

tagging some shirts Goose has, I love, or a mix of both. also tagging his new sneakers and body glide because if 75% of my Disney travel series posts don’t have it, I’m doing something wrong. seriously… get one of these for each (sweaty) family member.

next up in my disney travel series: resort packing list for families with small kids.

this is not Disney specific of course - but helpful for any sleep/travel situation!

if your kiddos are used to sleeping in darkness or you want to help turn off their brains to get a good nap or sleep all night, we swear by the SnoozeShade (I know a ton of people who love their SlumberPod as well!) for the pack and play. It fits all normal sized travel cribs, even our Guava Lotus that is wider on the bottom. also tagging the stroller snooze shade.

- suction cup blackout shades that stick to windows. garbage bags and painters tape also work 😉

- chase has this blow up toddler bed that lives at my in laws house in Florida. it bounces between their house, my aunt’s house, and this year Disney. the mattress fits a full size crib sheet and the sides are higher to prevent any rolling.

- collapsable laundry bags fold into nothing when not being used and you can shove dirty laundry in it to bring home in your suitcase.

- 10 foot phone/iPad chargers to be able to reach those hotel outlets when the bigger kiddo may not nap but needs some screen time down time.

- travel sound machine! we love our hatch sound machines (there are 3 full size hatches in our home + this travel size one)! you can turn it on and adjust the white noise sound/volume on the device or through the phone app.

kicking off my disney travel tips series with this load of goodies: must haves for families with small kiddos!

we own and use all of these items and in clockwise order:
- wet ones wipes to clean off tops of garbage cans for standing and eating festival treats in Epcot
- spray hand sanitizer for obvious reasons
- a great way to occupy little kids at restaurants. great for the airplane too!
- clip on, rechargeable battery operated fans to keep those babies cool in the stroller. pro tip: buy 2 or 3 and always have one on the charger at the resort to be ready to go. bonus pro tip: point one of those extra fans on whoever is pushing the stroller
- universal rain cover for a single stroller with zip flap opening
- cooling towels
- Mickey poncho for toddlers & little kids
- clear front zip pouches, 3 sizes
- wet/dry bag. store extra clothes/diapers and swap out for dirty/wet clothes
- anti-chafing stick: great for thighs, arms, feet, or anywhere you could chafe (get one for each family member)
- travel sound machine for naps on the go. multiple white noises and clips to anything!
