this is the 4th (or 5th?) summer in a row we are using MINNIDIP pools & splash pads (& our beloved fountain pool).

there are SO MANY new fun designs this summer and I kind of want the sprinkler one for myself (and not let the boys near it 🫠). also the new Bullseye one is adorable and matches our Target loving vibes 🎯

I grab them when I see them at the beginning of summer or when they’re on clearance in the fall to have backups!

I bought this pump at the beginning of last summer and totally forgot I acquired a water jug at some point so we’re breaking it in today and the boys are gonna be PUMPED to see it!

the boys are still kind of young to do this 100% independently but we are working on less screen time for all of this so a new family activity where we set it up and the boys run the marbles can last for way longer than a lot of other activities or games!

I’ve mentioned recently on IG that after Trent goes down for his nap (slightly before Chase does), I try to do something special with just the 2 of us. today’s activity is the enchanted cupcake party game (there’s also a princess version) and I’m tagging some of our other favorite games!

pre-vacation pro tip: train your little ones to wear headphones before the flight/long car ride/train!

we did the same when Chase was the same age as Trent (approx 15-16 months old) and it helped so much!

the key is to turn off the show/take away the tablet whenever they take off the headphones and they’ll get it quick!

I love these headphones because they’re so comfortable, noise canceling, and plug in (one less thing to charge when you’re dealing with Bluetooth headphones)!
