Jeans + sweater is one of my go-to outfit combinations, but it can get boring quickly! So, all week long I have been providing tips to make your “jeans and a sweater” outfit better.

Tip # 4: add a layer— there are so many great layering options: puffer vests, sherpa jackets, denim jackets, barn jackets, sherpa vests and more! This is a cute AND practical one because it also adds extra warmth!

for spring and my two warm weather trips in the next couple of months!☀️

Sizing:
Denim shorts—00–sending back—they feel too long for my taste (they are 99% cotton so they would shrink some)
cotton green floral blouse—xs petite —so cute!
Striped tee—small petite—have this one in lots of colors. Love it! (Grey tee in first pic is the same tee!)
Gauze cotton pants—xs petite—loveee! Such a fun color and always love gauze cotton.
Rust linen blend shorts—xxs—run bigger—I size down!
Green linen blend shorts—xxs—bought these last year—happy to get another color this year!
White tank-small—ordered last year in white and black—such a good basic.
Linen-blend button up shirt—small —I love a linen or cotton button up as a light layer. This color is great!

By mid-February we all start to get a little bored with winter clothes, but there’s still quite a bit of winter left😅 So, I’m sharing tips all week long on how to make a “jeans and sweater” outfit more interesting.

Tip # 3: trade out your basic knit sweater for one with texture— a fuzzy sweater, a ribbed pullover, or a cable knit option can add just a little more interest than a basic sweater. Bonus points for fun colors too 🌈

Tip # 1: switch your normal jeans for a different style— wide leg, utility, black jean, or barrels. Changing out your denim is such a simple and easy way to update the whole look! My sweaters definitely look like different outfits depending on the jeans I’m wearing them with🥰

Wide leg jeans (Bella relaxed straight but fir more wide): 24 in 26” inseam
Black jeans: 24 in a 26” inseam
