Let’s imagine that the Birkin bag had never been invented: what would be the ultimate it bag of today? I bet you’ve heard the story of the Birkin bag: the one where Hermes designed it for Jane Birkin on the plane so she could comfortably fit all of her belongings there; at the time though she’s been carrying around all of her things in a large basket/ tote.
