If you struggle reading the word FIND a Bible teacher that can help you with that. Everyone in my close circle is probably sick of me mentioning this because I can’t shut up about him…but I highly recommend Verse by Verse Ministry from Stephen Armstrong. Man, guys. This man was anointed by God. He’s one of those teachers that just makes it all make sense in terms you understand. He has a TON of studies on his app, but you can also access some of them on RightNow Media and YouTube. I’m currently studying Revelation which was a book that has ALWAYS intimidated me, and through this study my fears have subsided and I have no anxiety in the book anymore. If you struggle not only reading your Bible but also understanding it - I highly recommend trying one of his studies.

Also, I’ve posted about it before - but my Spiral Bibles have transformed my time in the word. My adhd brain can read it WAY easier with the double spacing and margins for notes.

I had a terribly short haircut that just didn’t vibe back in December. The picture on the right was February-ish. The picture on the left was a week ago.

I’ve been growing my hair out and also working to get it healthy again. I went through horrible post c-vid hair loss last year and it also was terribly dry.

Nutrafol has been the only thing that works to not only grow my hair but thicken it back up. I had bald spots on my temples from losing so much hair, but it’s all back.

This is 7ish months of growth. Admittedly, not taking it completely consistently (I’ll randomly take weeks off) and it’s still so much healthier and growing!

I always try to remember to share this when I see posts asking for hair help! It’s pricey, but it’s been so worth it!

Something that has transformed my time in the word as a woman with ADHD is this spiral Bible.

I have always had an incredibly hard time opening my Bible and diving in. There’s just…so much. And since there’s so much…my brain cannot process where to even begin. The words on the pages of a typical Bible are so tiny. The pages are so thin. In the brain do someone with ADHD, it feels like there’s no way I can not only read through a page but also comprehend the words….let alone the entire BOOK.

Well, let me tell ya…simply double spacing the text and adding lines for notes on these pages has changed my life. I look forward to reading the Word everyday now. I’m able to actually get through full chapters without quitting halfway through. The only initial bummer I’ll note is that the Old Testament is broken up into 4 spiral books due to how long it is (the New Testament is all In one book). I kind of prefer it that way now, though because depending on what I want to read - I just grab that book and go.
