One thing we intentionally designed the kitchen around was having one hard-working cabinet that could hold the real life appliances we use constantly without taking over the counters. The lower pull-outs house our larger everyday coffee maker and air fryer, so they’re easy to use, easy to tuck away, and don’t require rearranging the entire kitchen to use them. Above, we keep all of the smaller appliances and gadgets in one dedicated spot: the KitchenAid mixer, blender, hand mixers, random attachments, and all the little things that somehow multiply over time. It’s one of those behind-the-scenes decisions that has made the kitchen function so much better day to day while still keeping everything feeling calm and uncluttered.
