my kitchen will never be featured in a magazine. there’s no matching aesthetic, no trendy appliances, no perfectly curated shelves.

what it does have? fiesta ware that’s been dropped more times than i can count (by a house full of kids), a KitchenAid mixer that’s older than some of y’all, and cookbooks so stained you can barely read the recipes.

and honestly? i wouldn’t trade any of it.
