Balancing work, motherhood, and keeping up with everything at home isn’t always easy, and some mornings don’t go the way you planned. 🤍

Dahlia woke up extra early, which meant my hopes of having uninterrupted quiet time and getting a workout in quickly changed. But instead, I got some work done with a friend, spent sweet quality time with Dahls and Rudy before nap time, and got the guest room ready for a friend who’s staying with us this week.

A little reminder that not every day will be perfectly productive. Some days you’ll check everything off your list, and other days you’ll simply show up and do your best. Both are enough. 🫶🏽

Devotionals have been such a gift in my walk with the Lord 🤍 They have encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of God’s Word.

But one thing I always remind myself is this: devotionals are a supplement, not our daily bread!

Nothing can replace opening our Bibles and spending time in Scripture. God’s Word is what nourishes, transforms, and sustains us. I like to think of devotionals as the vitamins. They’re a beautiful addition to our walk with the Lord, but they’re never meant to replace the meal!!! 📖✨

These are a few of the devotionals I’ve reached for over the years depending on the season of life I’ve been in. I pray they encourage you to spend even more time in God’s Word and draw you closer to Him.
