Both of these products can be beneficial for repairing a damaged skin barrier, and they may also be helpful for skin flaking caused by the use of tretinoin.
Personally I’ve been using tretinoin for 4 months as I have acne scars and acne and I’m prone to flaking around my nose and mouth throughout the day.
Taking a pea sized amount of both of these and blend them with two fingers.
Apply them on areas that your skin is flaking. 
It can also be used in your routine , no more than a pea sized amount of both after using your acids / serums. ( or you’ll break out if you have my skin type and apply it on areas that usually get dry to prevent instead of treat)
It’s like using 2 products as a spot treatment for flaky skin caused due to retinol and tretinoin.
