I wasn’t a big fan of the brick 🧱✨ During our renovation process, I was told multiple times not to touch the brick around the fireplace, but I didn’t love the color & I didn’t want it painted either. So I did some research and found that we could use micro-cement over the existing brick & we just went for it.
