Not up for renovating? No problem! ✨
Most of us aren’t living with the bathrooms of our Pinterest dreams. (Myself included!) But that doesn’t mean we can’t work with the spaces we have! This couple wasn’t ready for a full renovation, but wanted to make a few cosmetic changes to their bathroom. They purchased a virtual design plan and got right to work! An extra long shower curtain instantly elevated the space, and I helped them find a small vanity that would give them a little bit of counter space. A few swaps left their small bathroom feeling bigger, and this is now a space they enjoy.

Matching vs. Coordinating ✨
Thanks for all your kind comments about the bedrooms I shared last week! I thought they deserved one final post so you can see how nicely they pair together. The rooms are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. Because of this, I wanted them to coordinate, but I didn’t want them to look matchy-matchy. The rooms have totally different feels, but are both decorated in similar color palettes. I also tried to carry over some of the same textures, and repeated the gingham in both rooms, because can you really have enough gingham? Your home should feel cohesive, but should not lack personality. If you’re someone who struggles with this balance, I would love to help!

A Tale of Two Bedrooms: Part 2✨
I try not to choose favorites, but this room may be near the top of the list. My aunt and uncle are the best Nana and Papa to nine amazing grandkids who I adore. We decided to turn their second guest room into the ultimate sleepover space. With two twin beds and a daybed with a trundle, it can sleep at least four. It’s colorful, fun, and still fits my aunt’s style. I wish you could all see it in person because it’s just so cute! I hope it becomes home to some adorable little people’s sweetest childhood memories! (A special thanks to @chloe.kathryn43 for assembling all those beds!)

A Tale of Two Bedrooms: Part 1 ✨
If you know me, you know I love to spend my summer days at my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim’s house. They have a beautiful pool that sits on a gorgeous acreage, and it always feels so peaceful and serene. This summer my aunt decided it was finally time to update my adult cousins’ childhood bedrooms, which happen to be two rooms I loved playing in as a kid. We turned one room into a guest room, and the other into the perfect sleepover space for their grandkids. My favorite thing about this guest room is that I found art that mirrors their pond out back.
