it's giving "eccentric art teacher/spacey aunt" and I fully stand by it. Brown flowy dress, sheer cardigan, flip-flops: effortless, a little whimsical, and exactly what I want to wear every day this summer. Denim shorts and an apron belly don't always get along, the waistband digs in and they never sit right, so here's what I wear instead: satin track pants, a white tee, and flip-flops. Size 16 here, and these pants are easily the most comfortable thing in my closet right now, no waistband fighting, just an easy drawstring and movement that doesn't pinch anywhere. Tie-dye shirt, brown Aerie barrel pants, today's WFH fit proves comfy doesn't have to be boring. These barrel pants are easily my most-worn bottoms right now, soft, structured enough to not look like pajamas on camera, and the tie-dye adds just enough fun without trying too hard. Old Navy restocked my favorite work-from-home basics, so naturally I bought multiples in every color. My $7 Walmart flip-flops are doing more for this fit than they have any right to. White cotton tee, red linen track pants, the whole look is soft, breathable, and exactly what a day of back-to-back Zoom calls calls for.
