$My secret to salon-quality DIY spring nails 💅 (so good that I got engaged in this DIY mani!) ⬇️ *Essie Nail Lacquer* My current faves are 662 The Snuggle Is Real (pictured) and 1801 Dance ‘Til Dawn, especially during the springtime when I’m feeling extra feminine and girly. It applies beautifully — I recommend 2 coats — and wears incredibly well for such an affordable price! I don’t use any base or top coat, and this polish DOES NOT chip for at least 10-14 days. And this is coming from a home hobby baker who is constantly washing hands and pots and pans… I rarely spend $$$ at the nail salon anymore, unless I feel the urge to treat myself. With #essie I can get an amazing quality DIY mani for a fraction of the price I pay at the salon. I do make sure to trim, buff and file my nails/cuticles with a practical all-in-one file from Flowery, but I’ve linked a nearly identical one from #revlon below. It makes for a super convenient, minimal, and easy to travel with DIY manicure kit. Because I travel so often and internationally, it’s hard to find a nail tech that I trust outside of my nail tech at home in the US. Cleanser - The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser: use for a double-cleanse! First for removing makeup, second for a deeper cleanse.

Moisturizer - The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA: super gentle yet moisturizing! Doesn’t leave me feeling greasy, and is perfect for my sensitive rosacea skin. I love that it fits within the 100ml liquid travel limit, so perfect for before, during, and after my flight :)

Sunscreen - Supergoop! Mineral Sheer Screen SPF30: lightweight, not greasy, and unscented. Sensitive skin approved!

Sunscreen - Supergoop! Glow Screen SPF 40 in shade Golden Hour: I use this for a bit of bronze if my skin is looking dull. After applying my mineral sunscreen, I apply this with a buffing brush.

Hair Mousse - Living Proof Full Texturizing Foam: this perks my fine, thin hair right up! Perfect for my newly bob-length hair, I apply this right out of the shower by scrunching it in and letting my hair air-dry.

Under Eye Mask - Patchology Rose Eye Gels: a must for long haul flights. So cooling and refreshing after an overnight flight (especially if you feel puffy from lack of sleep). Pop these on right before your descent.

Under Eye Mask - Patchology Restoring Night Eye Gels: for overnight flights these are great right before you try to get some shut-eye. I love that they contain retinol to fight aging.

Facial Mask - Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: so multifunctional as a treatment mask or deeply hydrating moisturizer. Perfect during and after flying as skin can get super dehydrated on the plane.

Lip Mask - Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in Strawberry: I love waking up with super plump and glossy lips. Apply right before you fall asleep, and it’s like getting needle-free injections overnight ;)

What I wore as a guest to a summer wedding in the countryside! I believe in minimalist dressing — less is more. I always recommend matching your shoes to your bag. I prefer clutch bags and small crossbody or clutch bags with chains for more formal settings as they are more sleek and carry the only essentials you need for such an event. In this case, I wore black shoes and carried a coordinating black clutch. For a daytime wedding or event, you can also choose to wear beige or nude colored shoes and bag.
