Okay, this lighting hack changed the game for me! Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with can lights, but I wanted something that served the same purpose while simultaneously blending in with the timeless aesthetic of the rest of the home! My ONLY problem now is in the kitchen. As you can see in the video, there’s 6 can lights in a row and I do think that 6 of these lined up right next to each other miiiiight be a bit much and visually busy. Should I have our contractor close the holes for all the can lights in the kitchen and just install 2-3 pendant above the island instead? Do you think I’ll regret removing such a bright light source down the road?
