It’s soup season! Do you have a favorite soup? Honestly, I can take or leave soup, but I make this one often. My husband absolutely loves it! It’s budget friendly, easy & quick! Turn your pressure cooker on sauté & add a couple tablespoons butter. Add a chopped onion, 2 diced carrots & 2 diced celery sticks. Sauté 5 minutes. Add 1-2 ham hocks, diced ham steak, 2 bay leaves, 1 bag split peas, 3c chicken stock & 3c water. Use the natural release option & cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes before you release the rest. My husband likes to put the entire ham hock in his bowl & adds hot sauce. I just like the bits of ham steak and leave mine as is!
