Spring is here & I am in Spring cleaning mode.

Sometimes growth looks like cleaning a room that got out of control.

Not dramatic. Not deep. Just… Overdue.

And that’s where most people stay stuck waiting for the right timing the perfect plan the emotional clarity. When really it’s about deciding I’m not living like this anymore.

That decision doesn’t always look big. It can look like clearing a space, resetting routines, or choosing differently and small moments, but those small moments are where your life actually changes.

What’s one thing in your life right now that you know is overdue to reset?

PSA: This is as far as I will take my children’s rooms, though. It’s on them to keep it tidy and I provide the finishing touches.

New year- new organization!

Finally decided to organize my hallway closet! It was actually super simple, and just took a second to assess and realize what we needed.

I decided to add bins to hold our scarves, hats and gloves for winter with all of my gift storage underneath.

Small improvements in organization can make so much extra space in those small spaces in your home!

First tree of the season is ready! 🎄

Our princess saw a pink tree in Home Sense and immediately knew she wanted a colorful candy cupcake tree… and mommy HAD to deliver! I spent many days and many trips to @athomestores @hobbylobby, and more to make this tree happen!

Our friend introduced us to Pie Face one night and we immediately bought it. Every now and then we whip this bad boy out for game night and it is ALWAYS a good time. If you’re looking for a good family gift or an addition to your game night closet- this is it!

I have been away from home so much lately that I just wanted a connected night with the kiddos and hubby. This was the perfect game to play for us to be silly and make some good memories. Of course I was the first one to be hit with the whip cream but I wasn’t resting until I got CJ 😆

Halloween 2025 might have been my favorite costume ever!

We knew we wanted to do a black iconic 90s costume, but couldn’t agree on which one. At the last minute, we finally decided on Fresh Prince and Hillary Banks, which honestly fits both of us perfectly!

I had to hand paint @ctjames jacket to make it closer to the iconic private school inside-out jacket @willsmith wore. IYKYK!

90s sitcoms were GOLD! We had to pay homage to one of the best to ever do it!

Guys, I installed peel and stick wallpaper without a contractor and without losing my mind! I came close, but I’m still OK.

I knew that I wanted to add a layer of fun to our family room without the commitment of permanent wallpaper. Overall, I feel really happy with how it turned out. I have been having a TIME decorating our new house. I’ve found ways to repurpose old products and found some new goodies along the way!

Hacks to hanging garland:

1) Use the hooks that “hug” the garland and hold them in place. Use hooks on the sides to give a draped effect.
2) Add fairly lights as necessary.
3) Hang stockings UNDER the garland (I prefer mine on one side versus across the mantel.
4) Be sure to fluff and bend to make the garland flow the way you prefer!
4) Have fun and make it your OWN!

Also ignore the red sticker on our fireplace screen. That sticker says we have to keep it 2ft away from the fire when it’s on so I’m still debating if I should keep it. Should I hang onto it or return it for something more useful but maybe less aesthetically pleasing? 😩 Decisions, decisions!
