As I get closer to 40, I’m noticing more volume loss through the middle of my face, so I wanted to try an underpainting routine (contour, highlight, and blush under a very light layer of foundation) that still feels natural enough for summer.

Standout products: YSL Cushion Foundation (I wear MC3 in summer), Patrick Ta Double Take Blush in the new shade Out of Office, and a new-to-me Fenty gloss in the perfect pinky bronze over the newly relaunched Pat McGrath lip pencil, which has the staying power of a lip stain. Oh, plus the mph Beauty Underpainting Palette (always a favorite.)

To make it feel even more summery, I finished with Westman Atelier Bronzer Drops, Sarah Creal Copper Eye Kohl, and the Tarte Freckle Stamp.
