One of the best things I bought last year is this silicone spatula that's also a spoon. I got rid of my favorite meat chopper because it was plastic and switched to either all wood or silicon cooking utensils. But you can't put wood in the dishwasher and I feel nervous they never get clean. I put these in the dishwasher (just oil the handle every few washes) and they're still stiff enough to actually break up and chop.
