Waylon’s new big boy room ⚾️🏀

I think it turned out so perfectly for our little guy! And he is in fact obsessed with all the balls and they spend more time on the floor than on the wall 🤪.

Our dining room is really coming together ✨

When we bought our house the first thing we did was paint which helped A TON but then it was pretty slow going decorating and getting the house set up (I mean we did move in the week our son was born so I think it’s understandable 🤪).

BUT our dining room is finally looking like a real dining room! The last month we’ve added a rug and a new chandelier and it made such a huge difference. Swipe right to see the where we started!

Trust me when I say we are NOT DIY experts… but it is one of our goals this year!

When we moved into our house a year ago our backyard had nothing… the raise led flower bed was just dirt and so was the side yard. A few months after moving in Kirby put grass in but the rest of the backyard stayed the same.

A few months back we decided we wanted to dress up the raised flower beds before Waylon’s 1st birthday party since it was going to be at our house! We got to working napping out, measuring and designing. This project took us a few weeks to complete (since we both work full time and could really only work on it during nap time on the weekends), but it was so worth it!

I’m beyond happy with how it turned out and so proud of us for completing it! 💪🏼🌸

IT IS TIME🌲

I’ve always been a Christmas lover but this year I’m especially excited because it is our sons first holiday season and Christmas 🥹 I want to make it so magical for him, just like how it was when I grew up.

One of the traditions I always loved growing up was having a “kid tree” upstairs that all of our homemade and sentimental ornaments went on and that me and my brother got to decorate.

Well this year we’ll be starting Waylon his very first “kids tree” upstairs and I can’t wait to see it be filled all of his handmade ornaments over the coming years.
