I sit on this couch every single morning and spend time with The Lord when my house is still quiet and I’m waiting on the sun to come up. Just coffee and Jesus. Y’all, sometimes Mommin is hard! When your kids are young, the job is mostly physically exhausting. The older your children get it becomes more emotionally exhausting. We can’t fix their problems and broken hearts like we could make a booboo feel better. It can be a feeling of helplessness if we’re not resting in Christ. To be out of sorts and overwhelmed means I don’t trust Him. His plan. His timing. That’s hard! I don’t know about you but I want to fix things. I want to make them better but I’m doing that, I’m trying to interfere in The Lord’s plans. Ladies, if you don’t know Jesus, life gets so much harder. I don’t know how anyone makes it through a day without Him. For now, I’ll admire my new light fixture.‘I’ll drink my coffee and just pray!
