I made my first official @lululemon purchase the other day. I’ve been eyeing this belt bag for a while and debating if I needed it. It’s my last real day of maternity leave today and I realized I have only posted pictures of my face for the last few months. Last night the little lady 🐞 slept all night and I’m feel rejuvenated. I’m ready to be done being at home all day, but maybe not ready for actual work. Make sense to any moms out there? . . I’m also feeling (mostly) confident in these @fabletics pieces I bought while I was pregnant. The leggings are ultra highwaisted, which is the only way to be. Heading out of town this week for Memorial Day. So excited to get out of town for a few days. Getting away for the weekend was just what the doctor ordered. Thankfully we had great weather and spent most of the weekend exploring wineries, a distillery and breweries in souther Minnesota and Wisconsin. I am always on the lookout for good skincare products. Anything that helps hydrate, anti-aging and keeps my skin clear and healthy are my must haves. During this absolutely insane year, I have been doing everything I can to stay sane. What helps me, and know has helped me for years is moving my body 🏃🏼‍♀️ If I take too many days away from exercise I can feel it mentally and physically. We are priveleged enough to have built a small gym in our basement and it has almost single handedly kept me sane 🏋🏼‍♀️ Motivation is still rough though. At times I wake up with the same self defeating thoughts and, I know this sounds trivial, but fun workout gear really helps me. I’ve never been an athlete, heck, if I don’t fall on a rainy day ☔️ that’s an enormous win. So nice gear gets me in the head space to exercise and push myself. My recent @fabletics purchase has me ready to run a marathon (just kidding that’s nuts) this is truly some of the best I have ever had. After the hundredth time my keys got caught on a door handle from the long thing I was using to hold them I finally did it. I bought an @shopoventure Big O ring and have not looked back. I have been wracking my brain to figure out how to best manage this entry way and I finally figured it out. We needed a bench for people to put their shoes on and off and a place to put their coats. Are those shoulders I see? Why yes, yes they are! With the weather warming up it’s time to let them out! I am basically obsessed with this color so it was a no brainer on this top.
