She’s too far away to BOO her doorstep, so I mailed Halloween to her!

This is Savannah’s first Halloween away from home, so I made my very first BOO baskets for her and her roommate. I found everything at Michaels, and the vodka airplane bottles came from the liquor store.

A ghost basket, a bat basket, spooky little surprises, and espresso martini makings—my way of sending a little “Mom’s thinking of you” through the mail.

Shop the exact items through my LTK, and save this idea for someone you’re missing this fall!

DIY Concrete Pumpkin from a Thrifted Light Fixture

Supplies:

• Pumpkin-shaped glass light cover with an opening
• Stepping stone mix
• Water
• Mixing bucket and stirring tool
• Real pumpkin stem, cleaned and dried
• Old towels or trash bag, heavy-duty gloves, and safety glasses
• Hammer

1. Clean the glass light cover and let it dry. Set it securely with the opening facing upward.
2. Combine the stepping stone mix and water according to the package directions. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
3. Fill the glass cover, gently tapping the sides as you go to help release air bubbles. Smooth the mix at the opening.
4. Press the base of your real pumpkin stem into the wet mix. Keep the stem above the surface and support it if needed so it stays upright.
5. Let the pumpkin harden for the time specified on the stepping stone mix package. Wait until it is fully hardened before removing the glass.
6. Wearing safety glasses and heavy-duty gloves, wrap the glass portion in an old towel. On a protected work surface away from children and pets, gently tap the glass with a hammer and carefully remove the pieces. Collect and dispose of all shards.
7. If the stem comes loose, secure it with strong exterior adhesive and let the adhesive cure before displaying.

Style your finished pumpkin on a covered porch with other pumpkins and fall greenery!
