As a neutral color palette girl, adding color to my outfits can be a mission - I’m either in beige, brown, or black. But you know when someone tells you something in passing and it sticks with you forever? (Hello, anxiety!) Over a year ago, a coworker mentioned that I looked so good in my bright pink floral set (Valentine’s Day, duh) and should wear more color.

Level Up Your Workwear Basics 👩🏻‍💼📈

My fave outfit combo reusable from spring to fall! Completely leveled up my basic Amazon long sleeve bodysuit + black coated jeans with these 4 things:
 🧥I’m a sucker for a sleeveless trench coat because it’s so versatile. I can wear it with a long sleeve or short sleeve depending on the weather, and they’re so easy to pop on top of basic outfits to give a little extra something.
 💎The same goes for jewelry! I was never a big jewelry girl until I started experimenting with layering necklaces (and rings, of course). It’s done wonders for my plain neutral colored outfits.
 💅🏼Press on nails: the holy grail for girls like me who are busy, on a budget, and want to feel more dressed up at work. Takes about 10 minutes and last for a week +.
 👢Statement shoes: you don’t have to go breaking your budget to find shoes that will give your outfit an extra oomf. I’m always rotating between my booties with gold hardware, patterned kitten heels, and trendy sneakers in the office. (Gucci Dupe: Steve Madden)
