The Petal Twist 🌸

Pull your hair into a ponytail, then grab it from underneath with your hand resting at the nape of your neck. Twist the hair to the side and up to create a swirl shape. Secure small flower clips along the outside of the twist to hold everything in place. It looks way more complicated than it is… but that’s our little secret 🤫

How to create a ponytail without a hair tie (again) 💁‍♀️

This is a great hack for when you realize you don’t have a hair tie. Will it survive a workout class? Probably not, but it’s perfect for those moments when you’re in a pinch!

Gather your hair into a ponytail and hold it with one hand. Use your other hand to create a small opening just above and slightly to the side of the ponytail, then flip the tail through. Repeat the same exact process on the other side.

No hair tie? No problem!

Don’t love the look of a hair tie? Try this hack using a Topsy Tail!

This has been one of my favorite fool-proof ways to hide a hair tie for years. No bobby pins required.

Secure your hair into a ponytail. Slide the pointed end of the Topsy Tail under the elastic. Take a small section of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap it around the elastic to conceal it, leaving a few inches out. Tuck the ends into the loop of the Topsy Tail and pull through the center opening.

Clean, polished, and effortless ✨

If you struggle with a French twist, try this!

Start with your hair in a ponytail. Gently loosen the hair tie and twist upward. Fold the ponytail down and tuck it behind the twist. Secure with a hair pin by anchoring it on the outside of the twist, then flip and glide it across your scalp.

Start with your hair in a ponytail. Lift the ponytail straight up and place a feather claw clip over the hair tie. Split the ponytail into two sections above your head and cross them, then bring both sections down. Twist each section toward the clip a couple of times and tuck the ends underneath to secure. Gently pull and fluff the top pieces to create that soft, feathered shape.

The ponytail hack you need to try ✨

Leave out a small section of hair on each side of your head. Bring both sections to the back and secure them together with a clear elastic. Flip the ponytail through the opening toward your scalp twice to create a soft twist. Insert your thumb and index finger through the opening from underneath, twist upward, and pull the remaining hair through.

Hair Stick Knot 💁‍♀️

Gather your hair into a low ponytail. Slide a hair stick underneath, holding it horizontally. Wrap the ponytail over the stick once while rotating the stick counterclockwise until the pointed end faces up. Flip the stick toward your scalp and weave it back through the bun, letting the tip peek out at a slight angle.

Gather your hair into a ponytail and secure with a stretchy hair tie. Create a small opening just above the tie and flip the ponytail up and through from the bottom. Gently pull on both sides to tighten, then smooth and shape the tail with your fingers. Wrap a scrunchie with a strong elastic around the ponytail to form a bun. Effortless, polished, and so cute.
