Limewash essentials for Tiegan’s nursery! 🤍 we did one coat of a 1 gallon of primer using the roller brushes. They suggest the matte for lime washing! Then went in with color chèvre 150% for the first coat & second coat we ended up needed one gallon + a quart. I’d probably get 2 gallons to be safe & have extra. It’s known for lime washing to slightly layer with different percentages of the same color so we had suggested to start with chèvre 150% for the first coat & then move on to 100% for the top coat - this did not work for us 😂 it came out looking like a blank white wall so I ended up doing 2 coats of chèvre 150% and no top coat! If you’re doing a bathroom or something where the walls may get wet I’d probably do a top coat! Hope this helps!!! Nursery, lime wash, limewash paint, painting, neutral paint, neutral nursery
