Puffy embroidery… with hot glue?!

I tried this simple DIY technique to give a plain beanie a cozy, handmade upgrade, and I love how it turned out. I used hot glue to create the raised design and orange and white embroidery thread to give it that chunky, puffy look.

It’s such an easy way to customize a basic beanie for fall, and you don’t need to be an embroidery expert to try it.

Would you try puffy embroidery with hot glue?

Less structure can be intimidating, but I’m choosing to see it as an opportunity to slow down.
