This autumn, I made a few cozy swaps to refresh the space. Mack surprised me with the cream-and-gold espresso machine for my birthday (I still can’t stop admiring it!), and over the weekend he hung the mug rail that looks like it’s always belonged there. I mixed in some green mugs with my classic Farmhouse Pottery ones to bring in a fresh color for the season. Now, every morning feels a little more beautiful, with a reminder to slow down and savor small joys. A couple of other tips from the coffee station that you can save if you're renovating or redecorating: 🍁 A clear silicone mat protects our marble countertops from drips and spills, but it's nearly invisible. 🍁 When we renovated our kitchen, I had a hot water faucet installed for quick Americanos and tea. A plug-in kettle works great as well! 🍁 The picture light provides a soft glow so that I can avoid the "big lights" first thing in the morning. There are cordless options available now as well!
