Finding some fun ways to style this pretty chocolate brown polka dot scarf from Target.

Headed out to dinner over the weekend and played with tying it on my bag both loose and tied in a bow.

I then added it as a belt to my casual jean and tee look to instantly elevate the look.

Which one is your favorite?

My boots, purse and beaded necklace are all from Target and great pieces to start introducing some Fall color.

The scarf trend is one I haven’t tried until I came across this pretty baby blue one at Target. I had planned to just tie it to my purse but decided to try styling it around my waist and I love how it changed the whole look.

My white maxi skirt is Amazon and I own it in several colors.

5 Wardrobe Must Haves I Take from Season to Season.

1. Maxi skirts-When in doubt, a great maxi skirt is the easiest way to elevate an outfit. They can be worn with sandals now and boots and a sweater in the Winter.

2. Denim jacket. To me, this is a timeless one that works for cold indoor places in the Summer and transitions nicely into the cooler months.

3. White sneakers-The right pair goes with shorts and athletic wear now and sweats and leggings later.

4. Layering tanks-I wear these on their own now or under a shirt and layer under sweaters later.

5. Wide leg jeans-If you know me, I have quite the collection but I wear them year round for all kinds of occasions.

Went in for a return and ended up leaving with more. Somehow Aerie always has a way of doing that.

While they have some really cute sweaters and sweatshirts right now, I can’t even think about those where I live for months so I tried on all the options that work for my Fall. Most of the sets have pants options too which is nice.

Can you guess which ones came home with me?

Bringing Friday Finds in a day early because this Gap set is on sale and going fast. I had my eye on the blue version for awhile waiting for a sale and when it finally went on sale, the yellow was too pretty to pass up.

I added a sweater for Fall transition but the second photo is really how I’m wearing it in these 100 degree temps.

Can’t wait to style both of these separately too!

After two days of blood (just a little), sweat and tears, we got our daughter moved into her new apartment for her junior year of college.

Since this is now her third move, we have collected most of the furniture and decor needed but this year we refreshed some of her decor with some fun art pieces, a new bedroom rug and some frames and decor. We got most of it at Ross, which meant everything was super affordable.

Her living room couch and rug are from last year and both are still in stock so I have linked them here.
