Billy and I visited the @Mystic Aquarium and after that, I took him to my favorite lunch/bakery spot, Sift Bake Shop in @downtown Mystic, CT.

The Aquarium:
My favortites were the penguins and the seahorses. I also loved the huge gift shop that had something for everyone (coffee table books, jewelry, candles, candy, toys, stuffed animals, I could go on and on). We went around 4pm and they close at 6pm so we we're slighty rushed. When we go back I want to try the VR exhibit and get a Del's frozen lemonade (the consession stands were closed). We'll also plan ahead and not go when it's so hunmid since the exhbits are both outdoors and indoors.

Sift Bake Shop:
I got my go to...a Thai salad and lemonade. Billy got a salmon sandwich and we split an almond croissant with almond whipped cream. Everything tasted amazing as always. Because there was a fair going on it was impossible to find parking. After driving around for what seemed like forever we found 15 minute street parking. This meant we had to eat quickly and didn't get a chance to walk around and sightsee. Next time though!

Labor Day weekend is always busy for my family and I. We have (and attend) cookouts, do fun things like mini golf, sightsee, and soak up the last moments of the summer. As the long weekend approached, I decided on wearing this blue and silver sundress by Majorelle to a beachside cookout. (I was most excited for the live band that would play classic rock and alternative.) It was a memorable end to another unforgettable summer.

This maxi dress by Tiare Hawaii was my favorite summer clothing purchase. I held off wearing it until I found the perfect occasion. (Brunch at The Madison Beach Hotel with @BillyNoorlag.) Between the stunning shades that remind me of a sunset to the comfy lightweight fabric, I instantly fell in love. I paired it with a Tarina Tarantino necklace and ring and my go-to Chloe shades (that I’m wearing in almost every photo 😀).
