I used to hate getting up early and yet, here I am as an adult, making my own decisions, waking up at 5:30 in the morning to get my workouts done before the kids wake up. This day, the power blinked out and I couldn’t finish my workout video, so I walked on the treadmill, listening to an audiobook; which is my new favorite thing! I also love getting ready in the morning without the kids awake because it’s my time to drink coffee and watch a show, while I do my make up. I’m thankful that I get to be home to wake my kids up to eat breakfast with them and to get them on the bus stop. This is something that if I was teaching full-time, as I was in Ohio, I would not be able to do, and I definitely don’t this take for granted. Something else I don’t do is curl my hair until after the bus stops because the humidity down here in Florida would ruin my hair. And yes, I have to move my desk out of the office each time I film, and I make a mess of the clothes and boxes, while changing right here in the front room of our house (and pray that someone doesn’t see me). I typically try to film two reels in one day (though that doesn’t always happen) and then I move everything back into the office and put the mess away. Then I’m back at my desk to do some editing, the daily deals, finally grab a bite to eat, and then I am back to the bus stop to grab the kids. And that’s a typical 530 to 330 for me 😊
