We always include a drawer microwave in our kitchen projects, and this one from Café by GE is a favorite. It keeps the counters clear and is surprisingly easy for little hands to use.

The apron front sink and cabinet pulls are both from Rejuvenation, and I’m linking the exact polished brass faucet we used from Perigold. Timeless pieces that elevate the everyday.

Balance isn’t just for design. It’s for life.

It might not feel like the most important thing, but you’ll always notice when things are out of balance. Too many heavy fixtures or design elements can weigh a space down just like too many light and free elements can make the vision for the space just… float away.

The same goes for life. I am always trying to keep things in balance when it comes to our businesses, my three children, my husband, and myself. Of course it’s impossible to get it right 100% of the time, but I find that bringing an awareness to it at least gets me closer.

Finding the time to pour energy into each of these parts of my world is what fulfills me. And the constant desire to try to find balance keeps me motivated even on the hard days.

This little coffee bar is how I start just about every day. Between the white Keurig for quick mornings and the Nespresso Vertuo for my slower ones, it’s become part of my rhythm. The Target candle adds the cozy, and my Etsy espresso cups (linked similar!) bring a little handmade charm.

Right next to it is our hearth display—family calendar, chore chart, all the stuff that keeps us moving. But my favorite part? When I switch it to privacy mode and it shows my 2025 vision board. Just a little daily reminder of what I’m working toward.

Layers, light, and little pieces of home.
I built this cane-front cabinet and topped it with pine for a soft, natural finish. The neon ghost (TJ Maxx find!) adds just the right amount of quirky glow, and I styled it with a ceramic vase from Target filled with dried blooms from my grandmother’s garden. Most of the art is handmade or sourced from Etsy, and I framed everything using Amazon finds to keep it cohesive on a budget.

This corner makes me feel creative, nostalgic, and completely at home.
