Not everything they create has to be kept forever, and that doesn’t make you any less of a mom. 🤍 In our home, we have a small bin in our command center just for school artwork. Throughout the week, everything goes in there with no guilt, no overwhelm. At the end of the week, I go through it and keep 1–2 pieces that really stand out. Those favorites get moved into their memory box for that school year — all organized and easy to look back on. Think about it: if your child has 30 weeks of school and you keep 1–2 pieces each week, that’s around 60 memories from just one year. Multiply that by 12 years of school — that’s more than enough to capture every stage without keeping every single paper. And for the ones you don’t keep? Snap a photo and create a digital art album. You’re not throwing away their memories. You’re protecting your peace — and teaching them that memories don’t have to live in clutter. You’re still a good mom. A really good one. 🫶🏻 orderlyelegance momlife organizationreel declutterwithlove familyorganization organizedhome momguilt
