Helloooo skin glow! ๐ฏ
So my skin broke out recently and then it resulted in a lot of hyperpigmentation which is my least favourite part of the process because it lasts for -what feels like- ever and ever. Iโve been researching lots of different techniques from using aloe Vera on my skin and home made masks BUT THEN! I learned about a layer of our skin called the โbarrierโ which protects if from germs, bacteria, allergens etc and how excessive cleansing (hi, me.. lol) and dehydration (also me ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ) and alcohol & caffeine ( would you look at that... ๐คญ๐ my coffee habit is a non-negotiable) and so on can weaken it leaving you with breakouts, irritation, and hyperpigmentation.
@firstaidbeauty sent me their NEW Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream to try and itโs like a magic elixir, it helps balance out the bad habits by repairing the skin barrier with this light airy hyper moisturizing cream.
The consistency of it is perfect to keep your skin hydrated and happy all day. I need you try it to see what I mean. I like it after my cleansing routine and before I apply my make up! Not oily underneath either.
Note it has NO alcohol, Artificial Fragrance, Lanolin, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Parabens or many of the other harmful chemicals that used to run rampant in our skincare!
Have you tried it? Have you experienced any breakouts lately? Any not so great habits like me?
Skincare feels complicated sometimes but it shouldnโt be ๐ฉ๐๐ฝ I tagged a few other products that help reduce the appearance of dark spots for those recovering from a breakout too! Just screenshot this post and theyโll pop up in the @liketoknow.it app!
P.S. YES ITS VEGAN! #firstaidbeauty http://liketk.it/2ALA0 #liketkit @liketoknow.it
