Slumberkins will forever be a staple in my parenting toolkit. (TW: grief, loss) dealing with the loss of my grandmother has been extremely hard for myself and my toddler. She was literally the only family we had. We would visit her daily, and when we weren’t with her he was blowing up her phone; so, I couldn’t imagine how to even explain to him that she was gone.
