I’m giving you homework!! When you pick out tomorrow’s outfit, do NOT pick the same thing you do every single day!

Pick just one thing different - different shoe, different bag, different top - something different!

I probably should have shared another outfit that wasn’t a shoe swap (I’ll try to do that in stores!) but I hope these ideas gives you some inspiration on how you can style things a little different.

Ok ladies, it’s day 1 of trying to remove the stress of getting dress and wear more of my clothes that are hanging up in my closet!

I have no problems wearing color but when it outfit is all muted colors like this one, I never would pick the bright red shoe. And while yes, I know that look isn’t for everyone, it’s a great tool to help you see the colors of your clothes and shoes in new ways!

Here’s some practical ways to try this out:
-If your go to purse is black or brown, try a fun colored strap or different colored bag.
-Instead of a gold necklace, add a colorful beaded one or a fun colored scarf instead.
-If you live in jeans and t-shirt, try adding a pop of a different color you normally wouldn’t pick by tying a shirt around your waist.
-Or like this look, swap the neutral shoe for something fun and unexpected!

Your homework of the day - instead of the usual outfit you put on every single day, grab ONE thing different! Whether that’s a shoe, a bag or even just a different pair of earrings, try to swap out one thing for an unexpected pick (even if that “unexpected” thing is simply something collecting dust on your shelf).

Monochrome with a pop of something different in the shoe! A little something expected (a chunky loafer over something predictable like a kitten heel or pointed toe flat) makes this look go from predictable to stylish with one simple swap.
