Thunderous thighs making you feel conscious? Honestly, they always used to make me feel very conscious preventing me from wearing anything more than 2 inches above the knees. So if you feel like this, you're not alone.

While styling bottoms on my 4ft 11" tall body, I realised that slightly loose but tailored and slightly longer shorts look great and help me feel comfortable and confident! I urge you to try more styles that you think wouldn't look good on you. If you don't try, you'll never know!

If you've ever felt that your height and weight prevent you from looking like a girl boss, can I tell you that it's not about how your body is but about your lack of knowledge of styling your body.

Here are a few ideas for how to look like a true girl boss, even if you're petite and curvy!

1. Pin strip suits: the vertical stripes make you look taller and also perhaps slimmer if that's what you're after!
2. Straight cut skirt and blazer: Try and go monochrome here as it elongates your silhouette and pair with white or nude shoes
3. Navy and Brown colour palette: If you don't want to go mo monochrome, a great colour combination is navy and brown. It shows you mean business!

What to wear to the office in summer if you are short and curvy? Here are my recommendations:
1. Opt for natural fibres like cotton and linen as much as possible because in this heat, breathability is most important irrespective of what your body shape and size is.
2. If you have heavy arms like me, opt for shirts and roll them up if you can depending on the office environment.
3. If you have a belly, opt for front pleated skirts and trousers.

1. Use neutral colours for office wear so Navy, Brown, Beige, Black, and Cream are my go to colours.
2. When choosing skirts, a midi length skirt looks very sophisticated.
3. I personally prefer front pleated trousers as I have a bit of a belly.
4. Keep accessories to a minimum. In the office space, too many accessories on a petite person can look overwhelming.
5. If you have heavier hips and a belly like me, A line skirts and dresses are your best friend. You'll have to try on a few, though, to find the right fit for your body.

Thick thighs and cellulite holding you back? I've been there!!! I've been conscious of wearing shorts my entire life as they always used to ride up when walking because of my thicker thighs. I was also always very conscious of the cellulite on my legs.

It's not that I was eating unhealthy food but I wasn't exercising enough. I started strength training and also adopted better skincare routines like dry brushing and applying retinol rich body lotion, which have really helped with cellulite, but my journey isn't complete and I'm still persevering.

In the meantime, I look for shorts that are wide legged so that they don't ride up. Cellulite or not, I want to enjoy life in the body that I have!

This is your reminder: your body is not the problem. Your self conscious mind and the wrong clothes are. Appreciate your body, feel grateful that it lets you live a beautiful life. Dress for the body you have while working on yourself to become the best version of you. You will gradually watch your confidence bloom.

Though I talk about body positivity on this page, there a lot of times that I feel very self conscious. But when I do so, I pick up the brightest colours that cheer me up and put on beautiful accessories that make me feel golden.
