Mother’s Day Weekend Outfits | Elevated Spring Style, Travel Looks & Neutral Basics

Still coming down from a very busy weekend, but I couldn’t not share these 🤍

Some of these photos are from a family photo shoot we did last fall that I somehow never got around to posting, but I love the way she captured the personalities and connection between me and each individual girl so perfectly. Mixed in with a few little snippets from our Mother’s Day weekend too.

For our beach day and art walk, I wore my favorite beige trousers with a lightweight denim jacket and neutral black-and-white sneakers from Gola. The trousers are so comfortable with an elastic waistband in the back, wrinkle resistant, and perfect for travel outfits, airport outfits, teacher outfits, business casual workwear, and everyday spring and summer outfits.

I also included my wine tasting outfit from the weekend — a super comfortable body con dress with built-in shapewear that somehow still feels lightweight and breathable even on warmer days. Finished everything off with my favorite sunglasses of the season from WMP which I’ve been wearing nonstop lately.

Loving this easy elevated outfit lately 🤍 The beige trousers are so comfortable with an elastic waistband in the back, but still polished enough for business casual workwear, teacher outfits, work outfits, and everyday mom life. They hit right at my ankle (I’m 5’7”), run true to size, come in multiple colors, and are surprisingly wrinkle resistant which makes them perfect for travel outfits, vacation outfits, and even airport outfits too.

And this lightweight denim jacket from @Target is one of my favorite spring layers lately. It looks so chic worn open over tanks and tees for spring outfits and summer outfits, but I also love wearing it fully buttoned and cinched at the waist as its own top. Such a good piece for cooler beach nights, travel days, casual dinners, art walks, and everyday outfits when you want to feel comfortable but still put together.

I paired it with my favorite neutral black-and-white sneakers from Gola because I wanted that classic elevated sneaker look without wearing the same pair everyone else has lately. They’re so comfortable for walking around all day and go with everything. Also wearing my favorite sunglasses of the season from WMP which have been on repeat lately.
