Just a few simple additions to our entry were all that was needed to make it festive. A little tree that I've had for years, a few boxes wrapped in plain brown kraft paper and tied with red ribbon 🎀, and a cozy white throw blanket did the trick. It took about 10 minutes. . . . Now if I'm totally honest with you, my tree isn't fully decorated and I'm okay with that. And the mantels aren't crying because they've also been neglected. They really don't care. . . . Whatever you do or don't do this year is perfectly acceptable. Or any year, for that matter. For those who have gone all out with decor and baking this year, kudos to you.
