Wash test of the Sawyer linen pants from LOFT. Washed cold, hung to dry. Shown dry but not steamed so you can see how they wrinkle in the wash.

They shrunk an inch in length (now 26.5”) You can often pull on pieces as you steam them to lengthen them a little bit again, but the shrinkage is often there with 100% linen. As you buy linen pieces keep that in mind that the initial length could shorten over time and the fit may get smaller.

A wash update on the two linen shorts I shared from Quince and BR Factory. Both shown outfit the wash no steaming yet.

Quince: shrank 1/4” inch
BR Factory: no shrinkage

Typical of linen the 100% linen pair from Quince shrank a bit and wrinkled the most in the wash. The blend from BR factory didn’t shrink and didn’t wrinkle as much in the wash.

A few outfit idea with crepe wide leg pants. I’m wearing the Sawyer Pants from LOFT in these outfits but they could also be styled with Lodge Pants from Aritzia.

The Sawyer Pants from LOFT are very similar to the Aritzia pants. A little shorter with w a 27.5” inseam in petite but they also run a little large. Petite xxs is roomy on me.

Fabric is crepe as well, similar to the Lodge not quite as light and drapey but still a great alternative!

The Lodge Pants are back in stock in short!

This was my initial review of the pants. Since posting I received solid feedback that the inseam does in fact increase as the sizes go up, xs has a 28.5” inseam so these may be a little long with flats for some.

In xxs the pants have a 28” inseam but as the sizes go up the inseam increase. XS has a 28.5” inseam so these may not be the most petite friendly for everyone.
