My college auntie era is truly one of my favorites ✨

I’ve loved being an auntie since my little mini came into our lives, but this chapter is sooo tea. As a boy mom, being able to spoil my niece with all the girly things I love too is such a sweet full circle moment. I’m also loving bringing y’all into the fun!

Part 1 showed the Dorm Reveal, where I got to help create a home away from home by decorating her Dorm! Now that it’s the most festive time of year, I knew we had to “Deck the Dorms” which is basically bringing cheer and joy to her and her friends living the dorm life!

I put together personalized duffle bags filled with goodies from @potterybarndorm, plus a few beauty and self care favorites because I just can’t help myself. The duffle is the LoveShackFancy for Pottery Barn Teen and I am actually obsessed. My niece immediately said the Nutcracker blankets had to be included and she was not wrong. They are insanely cozy and feel like an heirloom piece. You could add pajamas or a robe and I can guarantee they’d live in it. And who doesn’t love a Stanley. I had each one personalized for the girls and they turned out so cute. I can’t be the only one obsessed with personalization 👀

#ad There’s just something about banana bread that brings me right back to childhood. The smell, the warmth, the way the whole house suddenly feels like the holidays.

So today I’m making chocolate chip banana bread, but with a little grown woman twist with a healthy swap from @Chobani Greek yogurt available at @Target! Swapping in their Vanilla Greek yogurt instead of buttermilk keeps it creamy, tender, and still so nostalgic… just a little lighter for this busy season. I’ve been on my health journey and this takes the guilt from treating yourself for the holidays!

It’s simple, cozy, and absolutely perfect for those slow holiday mornings or evenings. And yes… the kitchen smelled incredible.

Here’s my recipe so you can try it too:
INGREDIENTS
• 3 ripe bananas
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup Chobani Vanilla Greek yogurt
• 1/3 cup honey
• Vanilla extract
• 4 tbsp melted butter

Dry Ingredients:
• 1 1/3 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• A pinch of salt
• Optional: chocolate chips or walnuts (my fave) + Pumpkin pie spice for a little razzle dazzle

DIRECTIONS
Preheat to 350°.
Mash bananas, then mix in eggs, yogurt, honey, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
Mix wet + dry together. Fold in chocolate chips or walnuts, then stir in melted butter last.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake about 55–60 minutes (ovens vary!).
Let it cool… if you can wait.
